From the Director - March 16

Our spring catalog should be arriving in your mailbox! We have an exciting schedule of classes and events in the next three months, including several that celebrate the arrival of spring and the great outdoors. Zach Fowler will be sharing his knowledge of wildflowers and leading a tour of the Core Arboretum. Anthony Tomkowski will show us how to identify major species of fish that you might catch in West Virginia waters. In early June, we’ll enjoy a relaxing train tour along Shavers Fork of the Cheat River to the High Falls of Cheat on the New Tygart Flyer. To see a preview, visit http://mountainrailwv.com/tour/new-tygart-flyer/.  These are just a few of the over 50 classes and events that OLLI is offering this spring. If you haven’t yet received your catalog, you can browse one online at http://olliatwvu.org/available-courses.

Registration begins Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.  Please remember that payment of registration fees as applicable are due at the time of registration. We cannot “save you a seat” in a class without payment. If you have a concern, please call me at 304-293-4780. If cost is a concern, scholarships are available.

Have a great weekend! Hope to hear from you on Monday!
